Undefeated Sakhile Hlatshwayo won
the World Boxing Federation (WBF)
All Africa Super Bantamweight title
in dominant fashion on Sunday,
December 15, in Dundee,
KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
Facing his biggest test to date in
the experienced Arnel Lubisi,
Hlatshwayo stepped up to the plate
and more than delivered on
expectations.
Scoring two knock-downs in the first
round, he ended the fight in round
two, forcing referee Thokozani Ncube
to step in and wave it off after
sending Lubisi to the canvas a third
time.
Hlatshwayo improved his professional
record to 6-0 (4) after sixteen
months in the pro ranks. Lubisi, a
pro since 2017, falls to 8-8 (5).
The fight was the main event of a
card promoted by Hlula Boxing
Promotions.
